What a lot of work! =)

You could do something like intersecting spirals out from the pinwheels, if you want to go with the curves. Or an all-over curvy design. A traditional Baptist Fan would work well. What about wavy lines diagonally in two directions? 1 inch apart, maybe?

I know I'm in the minority, maybe a minority of one, but I never feel that SID really does a thing for a quilt.Susan https://www.blogger.com/profile/09159163720029661287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24621229.post-37830254034715164582009-01-15T12:41:00.000-06:002009-01-15T12:41:00.000-06:00It is so pretty, I like your little triangles. I think I'd do some diagonal lines = maybe crosshatching.Jerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15376826964033570528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24621229.post-86783722650972855002009-01-08T16:48:00.000-06:002009-01-08T16:48:00.000-06:00I think anything that will accentuate the diagonal...I think anything that will accentuate the diagonal lines would work even if you just did a simple line down the middle or the outsides of those lines. Some fill or SID in the pinwheels would make them pop.

How big did this finish then?? As for quilting, I'd probably consider SID or CC around the sashing triangles and a tight fill in the light areas - depending on my mood and attention span!Vicki Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06929340703066037054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24621229.post-19104447157771851912009-01-07T06:55:00.000-06:002009-01-07T06:55:00.000-06:00Wow! Maybe follow the diagonal lines and then put a square around the centre pinwheels?Joycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17083924435653058457noreply@blogger.com
