Quick Baby Quilt

Took a break from my jewel box quilt this week to make a baby quilt for one of my mom's friends. They provided most of the fabric, except for a couple of FQ's for the stars. I especially liked the pink with red strawberries I used for the nine patches. :)

Now I'm trying to decide if I want to quilt it with the walking foot in diagonal crosshatched lines down the nine patches or put on the quilting foot and make loops and hearts.

What an adorable quilt. I don't have a vote on the quilting, but I'm anxious to see it all completed. It's colorful while still not being busy.

Thanks for posting this quilt. It reminded me that I needed to do a block as a bonus block for my mini quilt group. Bonus as in case we need it. Several of the ladies are not only new to quilting, but new to sewing. Both of these blocks are simple and would be good for our BOM.

What a super baby quilt! I'd do the loops and hearts if it were me :)

That is really cute. Gosh I am torn on the quilting plan. Do whatever feels good at the moment!

I think the loops & hearts would look very nice on this quilt. You did a wonderful job on it and I can't wait to see it finished :)
