Quiltville Mystery Corner

The progress so far - I had to make the sashing scrappy... well, I didn't have to but was determined to use the red Christmas fabric up instead of cutting into my red not-holiday yardage.

Hopefully I'll finish it this weekend!

I think of every interpretation of this mystery I've seen, I like yours the best. It's gorgeous.

Beautiful! I am doing the mystery, too, and set my blocks exactly the same way! Mine are all Thimbleberries scraps. I use the same black throughout for sashing strips. Mine seem to be the same size as yours, too. Odd!

I think this is going to be one of the most beautiful Christmas quilts I've ever seen. I can't wait to see it finished.

Looking good! I like how the sashings made the star and ring blocks stood out from each other.

I really like the addition of the sashing. I'm making a smaller version and I might try playing in EQ6 to see if sashing would help my version too. Thanks for the inspiration :)

Wow! What a stunning quilt. I can see Santa smiling in his block.

Looks wonderful! I really like it with the strips in between, and the scrappiness just adds more to it.

Love the quilt. I am amazed that even with such small pieces one can still tell this is a happy, cheerful xmas quilt. You must be very pleased. Canadian Gail
