It's actually a little more orange than the picture shows, so I'm going to give it a day to ripen here inside on the counter. I just didn't want the birds to get the first peck at it. Here's the arial shot, next to a nickel for some idea of size:

We got red leaf lettuce from our CSA - the tomatos had to come from Trader Joes (but they were good!).
It's beautiful, my husband would love to pick one warm from the plant, and bite into it like an apple.
I just love fresh tomatoes but ours are barely in the ground. However, people who planted earlier lost theirs to frost so sometimes sloth pays off. Yours look delicious. I recently talked to someone who always plays a radio in her garden. She claimed it kept birds away from her plants. We also have deer, rabbits and raccoons who love our garden.
Isn't it purty? hehehe! Love it!
I am completely undone by your enthusiasm for this tomato. You kick tush!
